Topanga T-Shirts and Sweatshirts

Attention Graphic Artists:

Beginning January 1st the Topanga Banjo•Fiddle Contest will be soliciting the submission of graphic designs for our 2019 event. Accepted entries may be used on T-shirts, posters, souvenir items or for advertising. Creators of winning designs will receive free contest admissions, T-shirts, be honored in the program and on the main stage, and receive a $250 cash award.

NOTE TO ARTISTS: What may very well be a really nifty design may not work so well for a multi-screen-printed t-shirt. Vast panels of color will make the shirt stiff and uncomfortable to wear. Too many colors will be a problem, as the screen printing process can only accommodate a limited amount of colors. Think black and up to three colors. Remember, the simpler the design and the least amount of colors used, the better it will screen print. To understand how Screen-printing works there are some wonderful resources online. Check out some of the past winning designs below to give you a pretty good idea of what we're after. And then get to the drawing board, we can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Submit your entries as picture files, Hi-res (300 dpi) PNG or JPG, to and be sure to include your contact information.
